Today, you, the American consumer, can decide yourself whether to do your own vehicle maintenance and service or whether you’d rather take your car to a “professional” shop. It’s a matter of personal choice. Some of us love the challenge of knowing we’re doing it right. Some folks like to save money. Some get satisfaction doing it themselves. We agree and have formed “Stay Cool USA,” a coalition of associations, companies, distributors and retailers in the Do-it-Yourself (DIY) automotive aftermarket business who make and sell products that consumers use to service their own vehicle air-conditioners.
